Kallen’s Mission
Initially, Kallen Diggs worked hard to ensure that his followers would apply his advice to avoid unemployment or underemployment.
The U.S. government and mainstream media refer to the U-3 statistic as the official unemployment rate (currently 4.4% as of February 2026). This is only a half-truth since a significant amount of the workforce are no longer being counted as unemployed. The New York Times agree!
Several think tank organizations agree that the real unemployment rate is somewhere between 10-25% (significantly higher than the official rate). Last year, the Ludwig Institute for Shared Economic Prosperity measured the true rate of unemployment, which reflects U.S. people who are jobless, employed part-time and cannot secure full-time work, or earning poverty level wages. They found that the true U.S. unemployment rate is 23.8%. While that rate is not the most current, past comparisons show that there is usually a 3-5x difference between the U.S. official (yet misleading) unemployment rate and the true U.S. unemployment rate.
He believes that the U.S. government does not report the true rate of unemployment because they do not want the population to lose confidence in the U.S. economy. Unfortunately, many Americans have already lost faith in the economy.
