College tuition is now free in the United States. It is not free nationwide, but it is free for many people. The average cost of a bachelor’s degree can range anywhere from $35,570 to $120,375. Anyone who graduates from college should be rewarded appropriately because studying for 4 years or more shows a degree of dedication. Moreover, a college education could be much more valuable if it was free. A tuition-free degree can maximize graduates’ ability to succeed faster because they would not have the student loan burden. As a result, they could be more patient and selective to secure the best job with their degree.
Thankfully, there are college programs that are now free in the United States. Most of these programs will pay for tuition costs
only, which leaves you responsible for the miscellaneous fees. However, there are a few programs that pay for everything. Some of
these programs are open to general public, while others are reserved to particular people.
If you live in Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia, you may qualify for the Appalachian Leaders College Scholarship at Alice Lloyd College. Scholarship winners receive up to 10 semesters of free college tuition if they attend full-time and work at least 10 weekly hours in their student work program.
Do you want to attend college in Kentucky? If so, you may want to consider Berea College. The Tuition Promise Scholarship pays any remaining tuition costs for all admitted students after using federal and state grants. 81% of the graduates from the class of 2025 attended Berea completely free. Students must work at least 10 hours per week on campus, and those earnings can be used to pay for food, housing, and/or other educational expenses (e.g. books).
Do you want to attend college in Missouri? If so, you may want to consider The College of the Ozarks. Full-time students pay no tuition if they work 15 weekly hours on campus with an additional two 40-hour work weeks during the academic year. All applicants must complete a FAFSA form as an admission requirement.
In this below video, I mentioned a worldwide, tuition-free university accredited in the USA. It is one of the few universities that offer scholarships to cover the miscellaneous fees related to tuition-free degrees.
